Freimann Square

Freimann Square is a small park in downtown Fort Wayne that honors the General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, who the city is named after. The park has a large fountain and a statue of the famous General. Fort Wayne got its official start at the old intersection of Barr and Columbia Street. You will find a plaque on the walkway between the park and the performing arts center that marks the start of Fort Wayne.
